PAY RANGE
$20 - $23.50 per hour (Depending on years of experience and certifications)About the role
We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who values people for who they are and is excited to walk alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they engage in the activities they love and pursue their goals.
Work Schedule
Monday-Thursday 11 PM - 9 AM
A Day in the Life
- Hearing stories
- Going out to eat
- Attending community events
How You’ll Support
- Provide full support with daily routines such as total hygiene care, cooking, cleaning laundry, housekeeping, transporting to and from day programs, Drs. Appointments, and medication administration
- Help promote independence
- Be patient and respectful in action and speaking
- Advocate for each person’s rights and help build their confidence and sense of self
- Keep clear, respectful records to ensure continuity of care and support
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points
- Comfortable driving agency vehicles and assisting people who use wheelchairs
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and provide physical assistance when needed
- Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete)
