Description
Verland is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join the team at their Main Campus in Sewickley, PA.
Shifts Available
- Full Time - 36 hours per week
- Week 1: 6pm-6:30am - Sunday / Monday / Tuesday
- Week 2: 6pm-6:30am - Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday
Contributions

- Introduce and encourage skill development through active treatment activities
- Implement individualized programs; record all observations and daily progress notes
- Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities
- Assist with meals and perform cleaning and laundry duties in the house
- Bathe, dress, and assist clients with personal hygiene
- Housekeeping duties as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable means of transportation
- Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions
- Pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening within 2 weeks of employment
Qualifications
- Completion of 2 weeks paid training provided by Verland
- To educate new hires on daily living skills, social engagement, personal hygiene skills, and each individual’s support plan/ personal development goals
