Job Duties
- Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Companionship
- Appropriate communication/social skilled
- Light housekeeping and chores
- Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
- Meting individual goals and outcomes
- Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)
Position Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
- MUST HAVE ACTIVE/CURRENT DRIVERS LICENSE
Mobile Device & EVV Requirements
- This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care / home health services.
- Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
