Direct Support Professional / DSP

Your Role in Our Mission

• Provide care in the home of the individual and the community they live in.
• Aid with daily tasks including housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
• Support personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, toiletry, and changing diapers.
• Offer employment support as needed.
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands.
• Help plan and organize their schedule.
• Document and report in the electronic health system of record daily.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Entry-level, on-the-job training provided.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge: Basic housekeeping, basic nutrition, and safety protocols.
• Skills: Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability are essential.
• Technology: Proficiency with EHR systems or willingness to learn.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required.
