Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Job Summary

At Aspire Living & Learning, we support neurodiverse individuals in New England and Maryland through various services. We are currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support in a residential setting in Nashua, NH.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with daily activities such as household chores, meal preparation, recreational activities, learning activities, and physical fitness activities.
• Represent the needs, wants, and interests of individuals served or supported by the program, and provide input on program planning and implementation.
• Assist individuals with transportation to community activities, helping them build valuable life skills.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities in a professional setting strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills, experience using Therap a plus!
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US driver’s license and auto insurance required, with at least 3 years of driving experience. Access to reliable transportation is required, and some positions may require the use of a personal vehicle to transport supported individuals, depending on program needs.

Pay and Schedule

• Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on education and experience.
• Hours: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, full time. All schedules include at least one weekend day.
