Direct Support Professional (DSP)- All Shifts, Full or Part time

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• A personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
• A valid (Ohio) driver's license and car insurance.
• A Motor Vehicle Record that meets ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• The ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and the ability to climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Qualifications

This position is great for: Candidates without experience. We provide training! Those who are interested in starting a career in healthcare. Those interested in gaining more experience in the IDD field. Nursing assistants and those interested in pursuing a career as an STNA. Those who want to gain experience while taking classes or those without a degree. Candidates of all ages (high school graduates - retirees).

$17.25-$18.25 per hour
