About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) within our Adult Residential North program, you’ll empower individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities to realize their best life. Bancroft is a leading service-provider for children and adults with autism, other intellectual or developmental disabilities, or those in need of neurological rehabilitation. We are looking for Direct Support Professionals who are passionate about providing quality care in a positive and empathetic manner.

Responsibilities

  • Empower adults to develop skills for daily life
  • Encourage their independence through personalized plans of care
  • Plan events and outings to build the Bancroft community
  • Belong to a supportive team that holds one another accountable
  • Communicate with residents, families, and guardians

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Work well in teams and are open to learning new skills
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends
  • Current driver's license in good standing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities

Skills

Strong desire to work with autistic, intellectually, and/or developmentally disabled individuals.

Pay

Hourly rate: $19.06–$19.44/hr

Schedule

Part-Time: Thursday and Friday 3:30 PM–11:00 PM, Saturday 11:00 AM–11:00 PM
