As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals achieve their goals and live meaningful lives.

Responsibilities

  • Create a meaningful day for the individuals you support.
  • Achieve independence and reach personal goals for the individuals you work with.
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as using the bathroom, personal hygiene, cleaning, eating, etc.
  • Incorporate individuals into their community and celebrate their successes.
  • Grow in life skills and participate in various activities together.
  • Engage in arts, crafts, and creative activities.
  • Transport individuals to and from facilities safely.
  • Play games and engage in fun activities.
  • Maintain accurate records for billing, notes, and other documentation.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license and adequate auto insurance.
  • Basic math and English language skills.
  • Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Knowledge of basic teaching principles and first aid.
  • Compliance with safety and universal precautions.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license, adequate auto insurance, and meet agency insurability requirements.

Schedule

Part-time and full-time schedules available, including:

  • Part-time: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Full-time: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Saturday or Sunday required

Pay

$14.50 per hour.
