Responsibilities
- Empower Independence – Support individuals with daily living tasks like cooking, dressing, and grooming while encouraging their self-sufficiency
- Build Meaningful Connections – Foster community involvement and help individuals build lasting relationships
- Be Their Advocate – Monitor physical and emotional well-being and communicate important updates to the care team through accurate documentation and real-time updates
- Ensure Health & Safety – Administer medications following medical guidelines, including mealtime safety and maintaining a safe, clean environment
- Celebrate Progress – Implement behavior support plans and encourage positive behaviors that help individuals thrive
- Stay Organized – Maintain accurate documentation to ensure quality care continuity
- Problem-Solve Together – Guide individuals through challenges and promote independence through supportive problem-solving
Requirements
- Must-Haves: Successful completion of Emory Valley Center's internal training (e.g. CPR/FA, Medication Certification, etc.), Valid driver's license with a clean 3-year driving record, Successful completion of background check covering employment history from age 18 to present

$16 – $24 / hour ($18.75 average)
Schedule
3-Day Work Week, 8 am - 8 pm or 8 pm to 8 am
