About the role

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will use your creativity, caregiving and people skills to support individuals living with developmental disabilities to achieve their desired goals and grow their independence.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals in achieving their desired goals and growing their independence
  • Use creativity and caregiving skills to assist individuals
  • Collaborate with individuals, their families, and/or other important people in their life, and colleagues in a team environment

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
  • A high school diploma or GED; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred

Qualifications

  • Flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Strong organizational and customer services skills
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges, or transferrable skills that relate to serving this population (such as experience in education, caregiving, health care, other human services or customer service)

Benefits

Pay

The pay for this position is $20-$23.50 per hour.
