Job Duties
Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
Companionship
Appropriate communication/social skilled
Light housekeeping and chores
Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
Maintaining individual goals and outcomes
Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)
Position Requirements
A High School Diploma or GED
Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Mobile Device & EVV Requirements
This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care / home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
