About the role
Indiana Mentor, a part of the Sevita family, provides Residential and Treatment Foster Care services to youth facing various out-of-home placements, transitions, or involvement in the juvenile justice system. Our personalized programming helps youth gain stability, comfort, and confidence to overcome challenges and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks
- Support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs
- Help participants develop skills such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Engage in community activities to support participants
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure participant well-being
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable personality
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
