Responsibilities

• Building meaningful, trusting relationships with the individuals you support
• Aiding with personal care, hygiene, meals, medication reminders, and daily routines
• Encouraging independence through life skills such as budgeting, communication, nutrition, and healthy living
• Safeguarding community involvement, recreational activities, and social engagement
• Providing patient, respectful support to individuals with behavioral or complex needs
• Creating a safe, positive, and supportive home environment
• Collaborating with your team to help individuals achieve their personal goals

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Five years of documented caregiving experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• A valid driver’s license (held for at least 1 year)
• Access to a registered, insured vehicle
• The ability to successfully complete required background checks
