About the role

As a Direct Support Professional / Caregiver, you’ll assist people with their personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. You’ll help participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and take initiative to help them be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities
• Assist individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs
• Help participants achieve developmental goals (e.g., budgeting, exercise, nutrition)
• Encourage community involvement and participation in favorite activities
• Develop meaningful relationships with individuals served
• Take initiative to foster growth, learning, and well-being

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with 1+ years of unrestricted driving experience (required)
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills

Schedule

• Part-time, overnight shift: Friday/Saturday 11pm–7am
• Part-time, day shift: Sunday 7am–3pm
• 24 hours per week
