About the role

This entry-level swing shift or graveyard position starts at a competitive wage of $15/hr. In addition, we offer our full-time employees excellent benefits including health insurance as well as flexibility and a rewarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible
• Provide support and guidance in daily living activities such as medication administration, bathing, hygiene, basic first aid, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, budgeting, housekeeping, and home maintenance
• Work with participants to learn new skills and achieve goals
• Provide life skills training in areas such as employment, money management, and relationship-building
• Assist participants with gaining employment and finding recreational activities that they enjoy
• Report any concerns about health and safety and keep documentation accurate and up-to-date

Qualifications

• Heart for people with developmental disabilities
• No experience necessary!
• Capable of communicating well in English both verbally and in writing
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus, but we're willing to train you
• Punctual and reliable
• Capable of keeping track of multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively
• Calm and patient

Schedule

We have various full-time and part-time shifts available including a swing shift from 3:00 pm to midnight, a graveyard shift from 12:00 am to 9:00 am, and a part-time swing shifts through out the afternoon. These shifts are some of the more common shifts but we have more options and can discuss scheduling in the interview.
