About the role

The role involves providing direct support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on daily living skills, socialization, and community integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support plans based on client needs
• Facilitate social activities and outings within the community
• Assist with personal care routines such as hygiene and meal preparation
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of support provided
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and challenges

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
• Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new methods and technologies

Skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
