About the Role

We are seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Newtown Square, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on individuals' lives by encouraging, mentoring, and coaching them to achieve their goals. Spend your day in a variety of settings, such as parks and sensory gardens, working on social and communication skills. Enhance independence by assisting with daily hygiene, personal care, and teaching daily living activities like housekeeping and laundry.

No experience is required—we provide paid training.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the Individual Support Plan to support individuals in achieving their goals.
  • Assist with daily hygiene and personal care.
  • Teach and support daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.
  • Work on social and communication skills in various settings (e.g., parks, sensory gardens).
  • Encourage and mentor individuals to foster independence and pride in their accomplishments.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Experience in a home health aide setting or working with individuals who have Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities is preferred.
  • Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Schedule

Sunday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM.

Pay

$16.75/hour.
