Direct Support Professional

At Merakey, we are seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Philadelphia. This role is ideal for caregivers, direct care workers, or home health aides looking to make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Individual Support Plan to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily hygiene, personal care, and activities to enhance independence.
• Teach and mentor individuals in daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry.
• Work in various settings, including parks and sensory gardens, to build social and communication skills.
• Encourage and coach individuals to achieve their personal goals.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a home health aide setting or working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Dual Diagnosis experience is preferred.
• Strong desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Pay

$16.75 per hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $18.75 per hour through the ENHANCED PAY option.

Schedule

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
