Direct Support Professional
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to operate a vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license
- Prior 1+ year experience in a home health aide setting or school setting working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
Qualifications
- Strong desire to create long-term impacts on individuals' lives
- Desire to encourage, mentor, and coach others to achieve their goals
- Desire to teach individuals daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry
- Desire to assist with daily and personal activities to enhance independence
