What You'll Do
- In-Home Assistance: Help clients with daily activities like meal preparation, cleaning, dressing, grooming, laundry, monitoring vital signs, bathing, toileting, and technology assistance.
- Companionship: Play games, engage in arts and crafts, and accompany clients to events like appointments, grocery shopping, and running errands.
- Community Building: Communicate with families and other staff about concerns or challenges to create a safe and positive living situation for clients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain prior to employment
- Access to insured and reliable transportation
- Recognition of the needs of others and ability to build relationships with people from different backgrounds
- Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Dedication to professional development and organizational/state-required training
