About the role

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a crucial role in achieving this mission by assisting people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) with daily living tasks and goal achievement.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the home of the individual and the community they reside in.
• Aid with daily tasks including housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
• Support personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, toiletry, and changing diapers.
• Offer employment support and assist with planning and organizing schedules.
• Document and report in the electronic health system of record daily activities.

Requirements

• Entry-level, on-the-job training provided.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping, nutrition, and safety protocols.
• Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability essential.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or ability to learn quickly.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
