About the role

Devereux/TCV is hiring for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Lynda Lane, North Versailles area of Pittsburgh. The position offers a pay range of $18.25 - $20.96 per hour, with a full-time schedule including specific shifts.

Responsibilities

Work with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with disabilities.
Provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health needs, and substance abuse issues.
Apply techniques learned during training to assist individuals in daily activities (ADLs).
Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain a safe environment.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

Be 18 years of age or older.
Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
Pass a PA state criminal history check, child abuse record check, and FBI clearance.
Pass a pre-employment drug screening, one-step TB test, and physical examination.
Have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or as a care provider.
Show empathy, patience, and the ability to lift up to 50+ pounds.
