Direct Support Professional

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Aid with daily routines such as cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and maintaining personal hygiene
• Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and report any concerns immediately
• Aid in the learning and development of independent and community-based skills
• Participate in community, social, and recreational activities with individuals
• Drive individuals to medical appointments and activities in the community
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of program documentation and billable records

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
• Exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations

Pay

$16.00 per hour

Schedule

First Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Second Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm, 3:00pm - 11:00pm, or 4:00pm - 12:00am
Third Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am, 12:00am - 8:00am
