About the role

The role involves providing direct support services to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under supervision.
• Engage in recreational activities to promote social interaction and leisure time.
• Document progress and report to supervisors as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals and families.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and days.
