PAY RANGE: $20 - $23.50 per hour (Depending on years of experience and certifications)
Work Schedule
The work schedule is 20 hours/week, every other weekend 9 AM - 9 PM.
A Day in the Life
You’ll spend your days assisting with care to a group of people who enjoy:
- Hearing stories
- Going out to eat
- Attending community events
How You’ll Support
This is a total care home. You will provide full support with daily routines such as total hygiene care, cooking, cleaning laundry housekeeping, transporting to and from day programs, Drs. Appointments and medication administration etc. Help promote independence Be patient and respectful in action and speaking Advocate for each person’s rights and help build their confidence and sense of self Keep clear, respectful records to ensure continuity of care and support
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points
- Comfortable driving agency vehicles and assisting people who use wheelchairs
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and provide physical assistance when needed
- Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete)
