Direct Support Professional
About the role
Aspire of WNY is seeking full-time and part-time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work in community-based homes in the Fredonia, Dunkirk, Silver Creek, and Brocton areas. The positions support individuals with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of the people supported
- Provide necessary supports for each individual to learn and grow
- Support activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, meal prep, and medication administration
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid New York State Driver's License
Qualifications
- No prior experience required
- Will train new hires
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Pay
The hourly rate of pay is $20.39 - $20.70.
Schedule
Shifts vary.
