We are currently hiring in Mooresville, NC.
Type
Mon. -Thurs. 3pm - 8pm; 12 shifts Friday - Sunday available.
Pay
- Weekly: starting pay at $19/hr
About the Role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with American Sign Language (ASL) to work with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with daily hygiene (bathing, dressing, etc.)
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments
- Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
- Participate in community integration activities
Requirements
- One year of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (training available through our apprentice program)
- Ability to communicate using ASL (fluent in ASL preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent

Sign on Bonus
$500 sign on bonus ($200 hired on; $300 after 30 days)
Pay & Schedule
- Competitive pay rates starting at $19 with a weekly pay schedule
- Flexible scheduling (part-time, and various shifts)
- Mon - Thurs. 3pm - 8pm
- Weekend 12hr shifts Fri. - Sun. (Can split shifts as well.)
