About the role

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct care at the Adult Day Training (ADT) program, which offers day services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The DSP delivers daily individualized care to each consumer while encouraging independence, respecting personal preferences, and ensuring their health and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a day program setting.
• Deliver individualized care that promotes independence and respects personal preferences.
• Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of consumers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to successfully complete first aid, CPR, and medication administration courses.

Pay

$15.56–$16.83 per hour.
