Direct Support Professional Activities

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with disabilities in accessing community-based art, recreational opportunities, and enriching activities. The primary goal is to foster independence, encourage self-expression, and promote active community inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disabilities in accessing community-based art, recreational opportunities, and enriching activities.
• Foster independence and encourage self-expression among individuals with disabilities.
• Promote active community inclusion for individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• Valid driver license, acceptable driving record, no history of neglect, abuse or exploitation.
• Extensive background checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about creativity, community, and making a meaningful difference.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of community resources and recreational opportunities.
