Direct Support Professional - 5am to 9am - Part time

About the role

Macon Resources serves over 800 children and adults with disabilities in the Decatur community. Direct Support Professionals are the backbone of MRI, helping individuals gain freedom and independence by assisting them in everyday tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with everyday tasks such as waking up, preparing breakfast, and recreational activities like shooting hoops.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of Direct Support Person training in accordance with state regulations and maintain status on the Habilitation Aid Registry (training provided)
• Effective oral and written communication
• Access to a phone or ability to be contacted outside of work

Pay

• Shift differential: extra $2/hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts
• Weekend differential: extra $3/hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts, applicable from 6 am Saturday to 6 am Monday
