Direct Support Professional 2 (Part Time-Evenings)

About the role

As a Caregiver at Sevita, you’ll assist people with their personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. You’ll help participants build skills, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential through person-centered services. Each day, you’ll develop meaningful relationships, take initiative to integrate participants into the community, and support their developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Help individuals build skills and achieve developmental goals (e.g., budgeting, exercise, nutrition).
• Foster meaningful relationships with participants.
• Take initiative to help participants engage in community activities.
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide person-centered care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred).
• Valid Driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
