Direct Support Life Skills Trainer

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll join a mission-driven team and create relationships that motivate us all every day.

Responsibilities

• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
• Experience ownership and trust from your leaders to do what’s right for participants
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
• Assist people with their personal hygiene
• Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs

Requirements

• Must have valid Driver's License for at least 1 year post permit
• A clean Motor Vehicle Record that meets Sevita insurability policy

Qualifications

• No High School Diploma or equivalent required for Direct Support Professional role
• No experience in human services or direct care required. We will train you!
