Direct Support Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
• Assist people with their personal hygiene
• Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs

Requirements

• Have had a Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit)
• Have a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy
• Include weekend shifts as scheduled

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, proof of education is required
• Age Requirement: Minimum 18yrs of age
• Experience: Six months of experience in areas such as intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health (preferred)

Pay

Hire wage is $17 hourly

Schedule

• Part Time: 8:30a-2:30p Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• 10:30p-8:30a Thursday, Friday, Saturday
