Direct Support Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs
• Help participants grow, learn, and live well
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (proof of education is required)
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Six months of experience in intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health (preferred)
• Valid Driver's license held for at least 1 year (post permit) with a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy
• Proof of full coverage vehicle insurance and reliable personal vehicle

Schedule

• Part Time: 4:30p-10p Thursday
• 2p-10p Friday
• 10a-8p every Saturday
• 2p-10p Monday, Wednesday
• 10a-8p every Sunday
• Includes weekend shifts as scheduled

Pay

$17 hourly (hire wage)
