About the role

The Direct Sales Representative is responsible for acquiring new customers for Astound Broadband, a leading provider of internet, WiFi, mobile, and TV services. The role involves prospecting, qualifying, and generating sales within an assigned territory, identifying and selling appropriate products and services to meet customer needs, and executing the sales strategy to increase sales within respective territories.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and generate sales within an assigned territory
  • Sell appropriate products and services to meet the customer’s needs
  • Engage in technical discussions with potential customers through demonstrations and presentations
  • Prepare sales information for customers
  • Distribute marketing material and participate in special sale events
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments within the product/service line
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Enjoy working outdoors and being on the hunt for new leads
  • Communicate effectively, build relationships, organize tasks, and present persuasively
  • Work autonomously and manage time efficiently
  • Have a sales quota-driven mindset
  • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Be proficient in Microsoft products

Requirements

Pay

The base salary range for this position in Illinois state is $40,000, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits, commission, and sales incentives if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, geographical area, experience, and capabilities. Commission component: Targeted commissions at full attainment are $56,940 annually. Our sales total compensation offers the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.

Schedule

This is a dynamic opportunity to represent our residential direct sales initiatives, in the field based around the Chicago, Orland Park, Arlington Heights, Naperville, Elgin, Schaumburg, IL greater market territories.
