Direct Care Weekend Mental Health Coach-Part Time

Responsibilities

• Aid residents in achieving mental health recovery goals.
• Meet and connect with each resident in the Community Program.
• Support the recovery process by participating in daily activities.
• Plan and meet daily objectives such as job maintenance, budgeting, meal planning, job searching, and job preparation.
• Support residents in improving personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Follow through with drug screen and breathalyzer procedures and self-administered medications.
• Transport residents as needed.
• Participate in scheduled and spontaneous meetings with the residents’ team members.
• Document interactions with residents, special concerns, and maintain strong communication with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent relevant experience working with adults with mental health challenges.
• At least 21 years of age, current driver’s license, and acceptable driving record to be covered by company insurance.
• Prior experience in a community setting or mental health setting preferred.

• Starting at $17.50 per hour and increases based on experience.

Schedule

• Scheduled Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
