About the role
The role involves providing direct care services to individuals in need, including but not limited to assisting with daily activities, medication management, and emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor and administer medications as prescribed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance caregiving skills
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for helping others
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
Skills
- Basic computer literacy
- First aid and CPR certification
