Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and preparations for endoscopic procedures
• Provide safe and effective support during procedures, including sedation monitoring and sterile technique
• Deliver post-procedure care, monitoring recovery and ensuring patient readiness for discharge or transfer
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled (6–8 call shifts/month, including at least one weekend)
• Design and implement personalized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and evaluate patient responses to interventions
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in patient conditions, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions
• Utilize sound clinical judgment to address complex health situations and consult with medical team members as needed
• Document all care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma RN, ADN, BSN, or MSN
• Licensure: RN License – Virginia/Compact/Multistate
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS required after 90 days of hire
• Experience: Clinical experience preferred

Schedule

• Full-Time, Days – 4 days per week (Monday–Friday, 0730–1700)
• Call Requirements: 1–2 weekday call shifts (1700–0700) and 1 weekend per month
