Direct Care Professional-Part Time

About the Role

Direct Care Professionals assist individuals in all areas of daily living, including personal care, housekeeping, cooking, and bringing individuals to appointments and recreational activities. This position works closely with individuals to help them become as independent as possible and meet their personal goals. Staff must maintain accurate and complete records, reports, and data to meet the requirements of BCArc and any certifying or regulatory agency. Effective communication with other staff, family members, and individuals is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care, housekeeping, and cooking.
• Transport individuals to appointments and recreational activities.
• Support individuals in achieving independence and personal goals.
• Maintain accurate and complete records, reports, and data.
• Communicate effectively with staff, family members, and individuals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• 1+ year(s) of previous Direct Care experience.

Pay

$21.00 per hour.

Benefits

$500 sign-on bonus. All shifts available as needed.
