Job Duties

• Provide assistance and advocacy for individuals living with mental health diagnoses.
• Afford individuals the opportunity to maintain independent living within the York/Adams County community.
• Utilize agency vehicle to transport individuals to and from appointments, community outings, and other scheduled activities.
• Mediate with landlords on behalf of individuals to maintain housing.
• Aid individuals in connecting to community resources and services.
• Model a strength-based and recovery-oriented approach.
• Be well versed or willing to learn about Trauma-Informed Care and practice it in their everyday work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pass Initial Screening, PA Criminal check, and Motor Vehicle Clearances
• Physically able to complete CPR/First Aid
• Must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
• Must be reliable, professional, and trustworthy
• Ability to work independently
• Should be organized, motivated, and have strong time management skills
