DIRECT CARE ASSISTANT II CI (COURT-INVOLVED) MULTIPLE FULL AND PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

About the role

The positions are available at multiple facilities including Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center, Eastern Shore Hospital Center, Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents, Spring Grove Hospital Center, Thomas B. Finan Center, Potomac Center, and Secure Evaluation and Therapeutic Treatment (SETT) Program.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in various mental health facilities.
• Assist with daily living activities and medical needs.
• Provide support and counseling to patients.
• Operate vehicles and vans as required.
• Participate in ongoing training and education.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in direct care in mental health or related fields.
• Current Nursing Assistant certification from the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
• Geriatric Aide certificate for certain facilities.
• Valid driver’s license and appropriate endorsements.
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.

Special Requirements

• Pass a direct care training course or examination.
• Available for call-in and potential substance abuse testing.

Benefits

The position offers competitive salaries ranging from $55,710.00 to $87,867.00 annually, along with benefits commensurate with experience.
