Direct Care Adult Mental Health

CHD's Adult Mental Health division is looking for new team members to provide direct care to adults in the community who are suffering from various forms of mental illness. We seek individuals with an interest in psychology and a firm belief that all members of our community should be treated with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to program clients living in a group home setting in the community
• Support clients' activities of daily living and administer medications as needed
• Advocate for individuals within various community settings
• Provide opportunities to optimize clients' independence, rehabilitation, and recovery
• Develop professional and supportive relationships with clients and offer informal counseling and guidance with a person-centered focus

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Must have a vehicle for work use and current driver's license
• Ability to complete medication administration training (MAP)
• Must complete and pass background record screening process

Preferred Qualifications

• Active CPR Certification

Pay

$20/hour

Schedule

Evenings and weekends; 2nd and 3rd shift positions are open.
