Dir Outbound Fulfillment

Overview

Responsible for leadership and management in a warehouse with high volume, scope, and complexity. This role provides overall direction and coordination of all warehouse activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage overnight operations for the fulfillment of customer orders.
• Ensure all team associates understand and operate within organizational, operational, inventory controls, safety, and service policies and procedures.
• Manage and develop a supervisory team responsible for directing all warehouse activities and overseeing employee teams.
• Ensure the accuracy of filling orders to retail customers and maintain product quality.
• Coach, train, direct, and counsel operations supervisors on overall performance.
• Define productivity expectations and efficiencies; monitor progress regularly.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for employee development and performance improvements.
• Ensure safety and recommend maintenance improvements by conducting safety training, accident investigations, and equipment and facility inspections.

Additional Responsibilities

• Investigate complaints such as damaged product or incorrect product loaded onto trucks.
• Ensure safety compliance of all team members, address inventory adjustments and variances, resolve shipment delays, and handle product quality issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, or equivalent education and related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organization, multi‑tasking, and time‑management skills.
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license and ability to obtain and maintain auto‑liability insurance as required by state law.
• Strong networking and relationship‑building skills.

Physical Demands

• Considerable time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
• Additional hours may be required during peak periods.
• Flexible schedule may include overnight, early morning, and/or late evening shifts.
• May require working at heights of 8 feet or greater.
• May require lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 50 lb.

Compensation

Expected first‑year total earnings of $100,000 – $120,000 per year, including bonus.
