Dir- Facility Planning & Analytics
Job Responsibilities
Direct and oversee campus interior design, furniture planning, signage, move management, and art program initiatives to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with institutional standards and strategic objectives.
Lead the development and implementation of facility planning, space utilization, and analytics strategies that support organizational growth, operational efficiency, and an exceptional workplace environment.
Establish, maintain, and enforce campus design standards, space planning guidelines, and workplace aesthetics to ensure consistency across all facilities and projects.
Partner with leadership, departments, and vendors to support strategic planning, project execution, and informed decision-making.
Identify and implement innovative processes, technologies, and best practices to enhance departmental performance and service delivery.
Influence and engage with key stakeholders (e.g., cross-functional teams, senior leadership, vendors) to influence decision-making.
Stay updated with latest developments in the field (e.g., latest updates to federal and state laws); Evaluate and advise on the impact of new related strategies, programs, and/ or regulatory actions.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Business or related area required.
Master's degree preferred.
10+ years experience in the planning, design and administration in construction or related industry.
2+ years of management and/or supervisory experience required.
Experience leading/ overseeing overall operations of multiple areas within Design, construction and planning or comparable function(s).
Prior experience in building external connections with peers, emerging technology communities, and expert networks.
Experience leading & managing teams in a supervisory/ leadership capacity.
Prior experience in building complex/ long-term facilities planning projects with a focus on schedules, resources, contingencies, and budgets.
Experience with operational management, budget planning, and stakeholder and resource management.
Proven performance in earlier role.

Consistently evaluates and addresses the team’s overarching development needs in line with the talent strategy.
Explores, identifies, tracks and leverages trends and best practices of the economic market for the planning and design industry.
Led complex/ long-term facilities planning projects with a focus on schedules, resources, contingencies, and budgets.
Drives development of project management and/ or facilities planning capabilities within organization to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Proactively builds and maintains key relationships within and outside the organization.
Guides structured evaluation of priorities with stakeholders for critical decision-making with a long term focus.
Facilitates communication and solutioning between stakeholders to address needs and perspectives.
