About the Role
The Director will lead, manage, and coordinate the technical, fiscal, and administrative activities of the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation department. In this pivotal role, you will ensure adherence to hospital policies, College of American Pathologists standards, JCAHO guidelines, and all local, state, and federal regulations. You will establish and maintain policies and procedures to meet these rigorous standards, ensuring the department's alignment with the hospital's mission. Your leadership will be crucial in assuring the competency of all department staff responsible for the assessment, treatment, and care of patients, tailoring care to the specific needs of the ages served.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree obtained from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy (Required)
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Respiratory Care, demonstrating expertise in the field (Required)
- Two (2) years of experience in management/supervision, showcasing leadership capabilities (Required)
Qualifications
- Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required)
