About the role
The Coordinator of Women’s Basketball Operations will assist the Head Coach in the day-to-day operations of a Division I intercollegiate program.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for general oversight and monitoring of basketball operational budgets as assigned by Head Coach.
- Hires and supervises team manager staff.
- Captures and maintains proper administration of player and staff complimentary tickets for both home and away contests.
- Aids in the end of season banquet and Senior Day Celebration.
- Captures and maintains proper administration of player and staff complimentary tickets for both home and away contests.
- Coordinates team community service projects.
- Captures and maintains proper administration of player and staff complimentary tickets for both home and away contests.
- Coordinates housing for all players.
- Manages game film exchange as well as video editing and storage for game preparation.
- Works with Athletic Sports Information Office to ensure appropriate information is available on website.
- Maintains social media site for team along with SID.
- Directs all aspects of team travel and Head Coach.
- Plans and coordinates lodging and transportation for all road games.
- Plans and coordinates all team meals.
- Captures and maintains proper administration of player and staff complimentary tickets for both home and away contests.

- Coordinates practice times and schedules with facilities.
- Visits team practices and shoot a rounds.
- Aids in all aspects of basketball camps as directed by Head Coach.
- Performs other duties as required by Head Women’s Basketball Coach or Athletic Director.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of intercollegiate athletics at the Division I level.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication both verbal and written.
- Experience working in a culturally diverse environment and groups of student-athletes.
- Ability to understand simple budgeting principles.
- Commitment to knowing and complying with the NCAA, Atlantic 10 Conference and University rules and policies.
- Maintains office hours set by Head Coach and/or University.
Skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Internet and email applications.
- Understanding of video editing software specific to sport application.

$50,000/ann – $70,000/ann
