Responsibilities

  • Carry out all activities according to the Health and Nursing Care Act
  • Assume overall responsibility for the nursing process
  • Delegate and sub-delegate tasks to supportive nursing staff
  • Ensure the highest patient safety through effective management of complex care situations
  • Perform excellent patient observation and interpretation of signs and symptoms
  • Instruct, supervise, and evaluate trainees
  • Provide quality care in close collaboration with other professional groups
  • Act ethically and based on evidence and research

Requirements

  • Completed training in psychiatric health and nursing care and proof of professional authorization (required by start date at the latest)
  • Completed special training for use in specialized areas or willingness to acquire it within five years
  • Good IT skills and fluent German communication skills
  • Comprehensive expertise in patient care and nursing practice
  • High social competence and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work overtime as well as night and weekend shifts
  • Commitment to continuous professional development

Pay & Schedule

Gross monthly salary of at least €4,160 (based on LD 14/02) on a full-time basis, depending on creditable prior service, plus any allowances. Start date by agreement. Full-time and part-time positions available, permanent employment and maternity/parental leave replacements.
