About the role
Mirabella Portland, South Waterfront is seeking a Dining Services Director with 5+ years of experience in fine dining, hotel, country club, senior living, or hospitality settings. The ideal candidate will lead the dining services team in the community's fine-dining restaurants, upscale casual Bistro, and catering program.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the dining services department, including menu planning, kitchen operations, and staff supervision.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service are met.
- Oversee the Bistro and catering program, ensuring they meet the community’s high standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and dining experiences.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resident satisfaction.
- Lead team members in professional development and career growth.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational management of food and beverage programs.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve high performance levels.
- Experience in managing fine dining, hotel, country club, senior living, or hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and certifications (Food Handlers card, ServSafe Food Safety Manager).
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in senior living or similar environments preferred.
- Valid Food Handlers card and ServSafe Food Safety Manager certification.

$115,000 - $120,000 / yr Depending on Experience
