About the role

Mirabella Portland, South Waterfront is seeking a Dining Services Director with 5+ years of experience in fine dining, hotel, country club, senior living, or hospitality settings. The ideal candidate will lead the dining services team in the community's fine-dining restaurants, upscale casual Bistro, and catering program.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the dining services department, including menu planning, kitchen operations, and staff supervision.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service are met.
  • Oversee the Bistro and catering program, ensuring they meet the community’s high standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and dining experiences.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resident satisfaction.
  • Lead team members in professional development and career growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational management of food and beverage programs.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve high performance levels.
  • Experience in managing fine dining, hotel, country club, senior living, or hospitality settings.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and certifications (Food Handlers card, ServSafe Food Safety Manager).
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in senior living or similar environments preferred.
  • Valid Food Handlers card and ServSafe Food Safety Manager certification.

$115,000 - $120,000 / yr Depending on Experience
