Dining Services Assistant

This is a full-time, 9-month contract with benefits available for 12 months.

About the role

This position is responsible for assisting the Dining Services Director in all aspects of the food service operations to promote customer satisfaction and to maximize profitability. The typical hours are Monday-Friday 5:30am-1:30pm, 7:00am-3:00pm, or 12:00noon-8:00pm depending upon availability. Opportunities for summer employment may be available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food is professionally prepared and served
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Coordinate catering services
• Help with breakfast and lunch service and assist with morning operations
• Complete ServSafe training within the first six months of employment

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2 - 3 years of appropriate work experience
• Effective leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet food service and campus-wide objectives

Schedule

Monday-Friday, with shifts available from 5:30am-1:30pm, 7:00am-3:00pm, or 12:00noon-8:00pm depending on availability.
