Dining Service Director

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee all dining operations on an interim, short-term basis. The Temporary Dining Services Director will ensure the dining program offers superior quality to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the dining program meets the needs of all residents, regardless of individual needs.
• Oversee all aspects of the dining services including menu planning, kitchen operations, and resident engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Lead by example, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a food service management role.
• Degree in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferred.
• Safe Serve certified.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Purchasing experience.
• Ability to manage a large department.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of outstanding inter departmental relationships.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
